Four Great TED Videos about Creativity
Med kharbach
Creativity, passion and inspiration are the key elements in the set of goals we as educators try to fulfil. We all want our students to develop creative skills and grow their passion for what they learn. rote-memorization and regurgitation of learned information is old fashioned. Living in a digital world where access to information is unlimitedly free, creativity becomes a compelling skill that students need to nurture from early age. Teachers alone can not make a big difference and unless schools authorities, parents, curriculum designers, policy makers and any other player in this field reunite their efforts together we will never be able to grow up our kids' cognitive capacities in a creativity-supported atmosphere.
I have already posted " Do Skills Kill Creativity " featuring Sir Ken Robinson in a great moving video talking about creativity and because of your wide interaction with this post I came up with other three great videos that can help you as educators learn more about creativity, passion and inspiration. It is thanks to TED that laymen like me and you can find interesting informative materials on such important concepts.
1- Where Ideas Come from
2- A New Way to Think about Creativity
3- On Music and Passion
4- Do Schools Kill Creativity
I can not close this post without including this great video
