Meghan Markle and Prince Harry celebrate Archie's milestone

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are opening up about how "fortunate" they feel to be home with Archie while he hits major milestones.
During a live video chat with Malala Yousafzai in celebration of International Day of the Girl on Sunday, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex revealed that they were able to be present for Archie's first
steps.

They’ll discuss the barriers preventing 130 million girls from going to school and why it’s essential that we champion every girl’s right to learn.

"We were both there for his first steps," Harry said. "His first run, his first fall, his first everything."
Markle further revealed that if the coronavirus pandemic hadn't forced them to slow down a little bit, they likely would have missed some of these major firsts.
"In so many ways we are fortunate to be able to have this time to watch him grow, and in the absence of COVID, we would be traveling and working more. We'd miss a lot of those moments," she said.
And while the pandemic has changed their plans plenty, the family of three is still making do with their new lives in California alongside their little one. Harry has previously revealed that he and Archie have been spending a lot of time outside.
"I've got a little space outside, which I'm fortunate enough to have so I need to get him playing some Rugby League," he said, according to People.
He continued, "Our little man is our number one priority, but our work after that is the second priority and we're just trying to do everything we can to do our part to make the world a better place."
