Visita guiada al barrio de Retiro y Cementerio de la Recoleta

Hora de encuentro: 14:15hs-unos 15 minutos antes del comienzo
de la caminata-.
Comienzo de la visita:14:30hs..
Lugar de encuentro: frente a la antigua Tienda Harrod´s-sobre la
calle Florida-.
Referencia:el guía a cargo tendría un paraguas rojo.
Estas breves y claras indicaciones ya preanunciaban la maravillosa
tarde que disfrutaríamos; especialmente porque el clima acompañó
con un sol espléndido y el grupo asistente "fluyó" naturalmente-
como se dice ahora-.
Toda esta experiencia-en mi caso que llevo viviendo en Buenos
Aires más de 33 años-resultó sumamente grata, divertida,
informativa, curiosa, y especial, particularmente por lo hecho por
Matías M, nuestro guía, quien-además como historiador- supo
combinar los tonos, las palabras, nuestros comentarios e
interacción del grupo y hacia aquellos personajes-
esas otras personas que nos precedieron en el tiempo,época e
historia- con respeto, sólida información -sin caer en ningún
"ismo"-( algunas tendencias o fundamentalismos,que se ponen
triste e inútilmente, en práctica en estos días sólo como una manera
de mostrar alguna "pertenencia" que muchas veces,
ni saben a qué o quiénes refieren).
Matías logró que esas casi tres horas de recorrida se convirtieran
en una tarde mágica, inolvidable y gratamente divertida.
Matías,con habilidad, equilibrio y a su vez, con la seriedad
requerida ante ciertas personas que forman parte de la
visita,demostró un manejo digno de destacar de nuestro grupo,
de las historias y de los personajes protagonistas de aquellos
eventos.
Nuevamente, desde esta simples líneas, ¡FELICITACIONES &
MUCHAS GRACIAS! a Matías M. y al grupo participante por el
regalo de tan hermosa tarde. También, un agradecimiento y
mención especial a M.D. por la iniciativa e invitación a
realizar esta "mini" aventura.

Free Tour: Retiro neighborhood and Recoleta Cemetery

street-.

These brief and clear indications already anticipated the wonderful
afternoon that we would enjoy; especially because the weather
joined us with a splendid sun and the people participating in this
tour "flowed" naturally to make a nice and funny group.
This tour-the first one for me considering that I've been living in
Buenos Aires for more than 33 years-resulted in an extremely
pleasant, funny, informative, curious, and very special experience.
Particularly because of Matías M, our guide, who -also as a
historian- showed us how to combine the right tones, the proper
words, our comments and the interaction of our group -and
towards those characters;those other people who preceded us in
time, and history - with respect, and solid
information-without falling into any "ism" -
(those tendencies or fundamentalisms, which are sadly and
uselessly put into practice these days only as a way to show some
kind of "belonging" that many times no one knows who or what
they refer to).
Matías made those almost three hours of our tour become a
magical, unforgettable and pleasantly funny experience.
Matías, with skill, balance and in turn, with the seriousness
required when referring to certain people who were part of the visit,
demonstrated a skillful management of our group, the stories and
the main characters of those events.
I´d like to specially thank M.D.
for the invitation
to take part in this "mini" adventure on a Saturday afternoon.
